This Collaboration Case Note describes the creation of a Collective Voice Working Group within TAI, reflective of increased member attention to their own funder voice. All TAI members participated and worked to achieve a clearer idea of what is meant by collective voice and a process for intentionally determining when and how that voice can and should be used.
The Secretariat worked with members for more public profiling of transparency, participation, and accountability funding needs and approaches, including increased use of the collective brand. For the working group to be more efficient in any future endeavors, it needs to set clear mutual expectations and be nimble.
